Palio by Lorenzo Siena c2013

Palio by Lorenzo Siena: launched in 2013. The name Palio is Italian for "winner" or "prize". A very apt name for the fragrance.

Though this is marketed as a men's fragrance, some women find the overall refreshing and sparkling quality to be quite unisex and often steal some sprays from their partner's bottle.

Available as:
  • 100 ml Eau de Toilette

Fragrance Composition:

So what does it smell like? A refreshing citrusy cologne for men.
  • Top notes: citrus sparkles, fresh pineapple, ivy greens and mint leaf
  • Middle notes: Iced lavender, rose, lily of the valley and star jasmine
  • Base notes: sandalwood, patchouli and white musk

My Thoughts:

Imagine sitting in an ivy covered gazebo, located on a private beach along the Riviera. Nearby is a small garden filled with lilies of the valley and lavender.

You are relaxing and drinking an icy, refreshing summer cocktail with bruised mint leaves, freshly squeezed pineapple juice and a spike of limoncello.

A breeze blows by capturing a waft of your lady's soft perfume of rose and star jasmine, mingling with your own fragrance of patchouli and musk, a souvenir from your last trip to India.

She lets out a sigh and is cooling herself by dipping her carved sandalwood fan into a bucket of ice water and then waving it near her lovely face. The droplets of water form rivulets falling down between her breasts.

A mischievous smile appears and you ask her if she wants to take a twilight swim...
